6MW RICE HUSK POWER PLANT installed
at THE ROYAL LOTUS RICE MILL located at Roi Et provice
of Thailand which commenced operation in March, 2004 |
Rice hust comsumption of this
power plant of 6MW is 7.5 ton of husk per hour or 180 tons
per day. |
From total of 6 MW, This rice
mill uses 3 MW for own use and see to the national grid
remaining 3 MW at Bhat 1.7/kw (US$0.0425). 3MW will make
them US$127.50 per every hour, US$3,060- a day or US$91,800-
a month. |

This type of modified truck
is being used to haul rice husk from the rice mill to the
husk users. It can carry 16-17 tons of rice husk at a time. |
Rice Husk is completely burnt
with this reverse chain grate method. Rice husk contains;
C=34.42% H=4.25% O=30.41% N=0.22% S=0.54% Ash==20.16% Water=10%

above the chain grate when sprayed by the pheumatic spreader
by its high volatile matter and fall onto the other end
of the chain grate which is moving from the rear to the
