Design of this corner tube boiler is so unique that down
comer tube are supporting the steam drum as well as the
four corner air tight water wall so that the boiler
can be errected without much steel structure and
refractories. Thus, errection time will be shortened. available from 10 ton/H to 100 ton/H

このチェーンストーカー方式は昔から最も多く使われてきました。というのも、操作が簡単であることがなによりです。但し、石炭のサイズが小さ過ぎたり、大きさにむらがあったりすると燃焼効率が悪くなる欠点があります。最も気を付けなければならない事は灰の融解点が低い石炭を使用するときです。設計時に想定された炉内温度以上で燃焼が持続した場合、融解した灰はチェーンの破損の原因になります。灰がチェーン上に残って後方にて落下するため飛散灰が少ない事は長所といえるでしょう。この方式を取る場合はシステムに適した石炭をまず選択することです。廃棄物プラスチックを圧縮したRDFも、このチェーンストカーにて燃焼出来ますが、灰の融解には非常に留意しなければなりません。チェーンストーカー・ボイラーは流動床よりも設備そのものの値段が安いため、現在でもまだ多く使われています。
